Rawb, a native of La Réunion, is developing a project with producer and beat maker Trka, somewhere between reggae, dub, hip-hop and pop. After more than a hundred concerts and several support slots for Groundation, Patrice, Dub Inc. and Jahneration, the artist is now pursuing his career with A Place in the Sun, a new EP that marks an evolution towards a more organic and personal sound.
Still nourished by Jamaican and urban influences, Rawb also explores more folksy colors and calmer atmospheres, without losing his taste for groove or live performance. Between reggae tracks, dub sounds, pop touches and hip-hop rhythms, the project builds a music that is accessible and warm, designed as much for the stage as for listening.
