Tea Ceremony and Ceramics Workshop

On September 18, 2026, Studio Ceramic Epicurious in Châtelaillon-Plage will host an event centered on the Japanese tradition of the tea ceremony, followed by a ceramics workshop. From 10 a.m. to 1 p.m., Master Tea Master Keiko Onishi invites participants to discover the ancient art of the tea ceremony and savor the famous matcha tea, for a timeless escape. The ceremony is followed by a workshop led by ceramic artist Jen Keramos, during which each participant will have the opportunity to shape their own chawan bowl, inspired by Japanese tradition. Thanks to artisanal firing and glazing, this creation can then be kept as a memento of this unique experience. 3-hour workshop – €120 per person. Reservations required; limited spaces available.
