Description
From December 7 to 13, 2026, at the Espace Carnot, Nathalie Moizard presents “A4,” a group exhibition featuring Marie de Saint-Germain, Gaël Kasprzak, and Richard Kakko, in which four unique artistic worlds engage in a dialogue between materiality, imagination, and depth.
T H E A4 E X H I B I T I O N
Four perspectives.
A shared desire to create.
At the heart of this exhibition lies, first and foremost, a human story: a friendship, exchanges, perspectives on each other’s work, discoveries, and conversations that gradually gave rise to the desire to showcase these worlds together.
We come from different backgrounds, with practices, approaches, and sensibilities that are not necessarily alike. Yet our works resonate with one another through a shared focus on material, the mark left behind, emotion, and what lies beneath the surface.
Four worlds, four ways of seeing and creating, but a shared desire to share, experiment, and foster a dialogue between our sensibilities. Here, friendship serves as a common thread: it bridges our differences and gives rise to unexpected resonances between the works.
This exhibition invites you to move from one artistic universe to another, observing the differences, the connections, the tensions, and the surprises. It thus bears witness to the richness of our encounters, where artistic paths—even when distinct—can intersect and enrich one another.
The exhibition thus becomes a space for encounters—both between the works and between the artists. Artistic encounters, like friendships, do not need to be alike to resonate.
I-MIXED MEDIA
Marie de Saint-Germain
Marie de Saint-Germain is a self-taught French visual artist. Her surrealist and symbolic work, deeply dreamlike, explores the twists and turns of identity, the tensions of the mind, and the blurred boundaries of memory. Through a mixed-media practice that combines paper, acrylic paint, and ink, she creates unsettling images that straddle the boundary between dream and wakefulness.
Her visual universe, inhabited by fragmented figures, suspended gazes, and bodies in metamorphosis, questions the invisible, the buried, and what persists despite the fracture.
Between appearance and disappearance, her works open up a space of visceral poetry, where the visible wavers and the intimate dialogues with the strange.
Exhibiting in France, Marie de Saint Germain pursues a singular body of work that is both introspective and vibrant.
II- ABSTRACT PAINTING · ACRYLIC
Gaël Kasprzak
The Memory of Matter
Gaël Kasprzak develops a raw and minimalist abstraction, fueled by his observation of the environment. He focuses on the traces that time leaves on materials—textures, colors, surfaces—and on what they preserve of a history.
His work balances spontaneous gesture with mastery, material with open spaces. His urban and mineral-inspired works invite us to see our surroundings in a new light: a wall or a surface becomes an imprint, a fragment, a trace of time.
For Gaël, detail becomes a subject for contemplation, and matter becomes memory.
III- DRAWINGS ON PAPER · INK AND ACRYLIC
Richard Kakko
Shibari of the Unconscious
These are postcards, paper airplanes, three-minute songs.
Two-dimensional projections born of gesture and sound, accidentally inspired by the Rorschach test and contemporary dance. And many other things, in a relentless pursuit of synthesis.
The moment is captured through suspensions, ligatures, and framing, for time, too, is dance.
Using paper, ink, lithographic chalks, and acrylic paint… in black and white, rediscovering the impulse of the first traces left by the human hand thousands of years ago. It is a form of writing without the use of an alphabet, offering only a secret, intimate interpretation to each viewer. And perhaps the viewer will be able to project their own sense of strangeness onto it. Ultimately, it is only the mind that truly travels.
IV - OIL ON CANVAS
Nathalie Moizard
Thresholds and Inner Immersion
To paint is to descend. It is to seek what eludes the gaze. Between light and absorption, appearance and disappearance, surface and depth, Nathalie’s oil paintings seek that moment when everything wavers.
Her canvases are not windows. They are thresholds: those unstable places where the surface hints at depth, the zones where light transforms or dissolves, where forms are buried, disappear, and then reappear. She does not paint water. She paints what it conceals.
Depth interests her as both a pictorial and an inner space—a realm where the visible begins to give way to what each viewer can feel or imagine.
Her works are untitled and simply numbered. She does not wish to impose an interpretation and does not seek to tell a story, but rather to open a silent, profound space where one can let go. She leaves everyone the freedom to enter it in their own way.
D I F F E R E N C E S R E S O N A T E
They do not seek to speak with one voice.
They meet in their differences: their gestures, their materials, their silences, their ways of looking. Four distinct worlds that do not blend together, but which, when brought together, reveal unexpected connections.
IMAGINARY
Marie shifts reality toward the realm of dreams and intimacy.
MATTER
Gaël transforms the traces of the world into sensations.
SIGNE

P ROFONDEUR

Because friendship does not erase individuality.
It sometimes gives it the space to resonate.
