From November 9 to 15, 2026, at the Espace Carnot in Châtelaillon-Plage, Madalina Dina will present her colorful and poetic world—a blend of painting, materials, and recycled elements—where childhood memories, nature, and emotions intertwine.

From November 9 to 15, 2026, the Espace Carnot will host Madalina Dina, a visual artist of Romanian origin based near La Rochelle. A graduate of the Bucharest Academy of Fine Arts, Madalina Dina has been developing a unique, colorful, and poetic artistic world for over twenty years. Her mixed-media paintings combine acrylic paint with a wide variety of materials: paper, fabric, metal, glass, and found objects. These materials bear the marks of time and find new life in her compositions. Her work draws on her childhood memories, her Romanian roots, and her connection to nature. Red, the vibrant and emblematic color of her artistic universe, now coexists with a softer palette inspired by landscapes, water, and natural spaces. Through her works, Madalina Dina invites us to look at matter and the world around us in a new light, navigating the realms of memory, nature, and imagination.
