On Wednesday 19 May 2027, from 2 pm to 5 pm at Beauséjour, create a poetic artwork inspired by kintsugi, using traditional Japanese paper. Combine colours and textures, then highlight the joins with gold ink.
On Wednesday 19 May 2027, from 2 pm to 5 pm, Beauséjour invites you to discover the delicate world of kintsugi through a creative workshop led by Christelle.
In a gentle, soothing atmosphere, accompanied by Zen music, let yourself be captivated by the colours and textures of traditional Japanese paper. Just as with a mosaic, carefully select your pieces of paper before intuitively assembling them to create your own work of art. The joins are then highlighted with lines of gold ink, inspired by the art of kintsugi, which enhances the cracks by transforming them into shards of gold.
A creative and poetic experience centred on beauty, resilience and renewal, offering you the chance to take time to create and reconnect with what really matters.
Children aged 8 and over will, meanwhile, create a ‘kintsugi heart’ on paper.
