Description
Enjoy a colorful and inspiring arts and crafts exhibition at the Maison de l'Eclusier in the Boucholeurs district of Châtelaillon-Plage.
For its third edition, "L'art et la matière" is pleased to be exhibiting at the Maison de l'Eclusier from August 31 to September 6.
Here is a description of the artisans featured in this fine craft exhibition:
"Fleurs de Vie" (Flowers of Life) are the hexagonal patterns that ISA renders in color on various surfaces (wooden trays, notebooks, paintings, boxes, etc.). She masterfully plays with the magic of the circle, opening and closing loops and intertwining lines within sacred geometry.
Frédérique presents books and notebooks featuring handmade bindings, crafted primarily from Japanese paper.
Virginie breathes new life into lampshades and decorative objects, enhancing them with sand; she works under the artist name RENAIS'SABLE.
Christine is passionate about buttons. Adorned with Japanese beads, antique lace, and colored paper, her little treasures become pieces of jewelry that blend past and present in a wide array of iridescent hues. She exhibits pendants, magnetic brooches, rings, and fashion accessories under the name CHRISTAUFIL.
Nadège creates ethical fashion accessories for men and women. Upcycling clothing is her specialty; she works with various materials—such as denim, faux leather, cork, and cotton—and exhibits under the name Nanou Sac Upcycling.
