Closing concert The Big Idea - Sorties de plage

Formed at the Châtelaillon-Plage music school, The Big Idea return to Sorties de Plage after a first appearance in 2021. A few weeks later, the six musicians sailed across the Atlantic to record The Fabulous Expedition of Le Grand Vésigue at sea. Supported from the outset by La Sirène in La Rochelle, the group has since pursued a singular trajectory on the French independent scene. Now based in the Bordeaux region, The Big Idea's music is driven by collective effort, live playing and guitars. After several albums and numerous concerts, the band's songwriting is now evolving towards folkier, more pared-down pieces, heralding the contours of their next album. No advance booking necessary.
