Description
From June 22 to 28, 2026, at the Maison de l’Éclusier des Boucholeurs, Anne Thiry will present an exhibition of paintings inspired by the Charente coastline, featuring iconic landscapes, shifting colors, and abstract works imbued with emotion.
Anne Thiry pays tribute to our region and takes you on a stroll along the Charente coastline to discover iconic sites that have shaped the history and cultural heritage of Charente-Maritime.
Carrelets, oyster huts, lighthouses . . . natural sites come to life in colors that shift with the seasons.
Let your imagination wander; each person then experiences their own emotional journey.
The works—some of which are abstract, another source of inspiration for the artist, in which colors and shapes intertwine—are created primarily in acrylic. The techniques are varied: palette knives, brushes, or freehand, always in search of balance and harmony.
