From March 30 to April 5, 2026, at the Espace Carnot in Châtelaillon-Plage, mother and daughter Lia Lioret and Patricia Lioret Sevrain will be exhibiting their oil and acrylic paintings, combining impressionism, the marine world and sensitive expression.
Lia Lioret's approach to painting is intuitive and sensitive, with color and material playing an essential role. Inspired by the Impressionist movement, but at the same time freeing herself from it, she develops a personal universe on the borderline between figurative and abstract painting.
Using oils and acrylics, the artist explores variations in light, transparency and chromatic contrasts. Each work becomes a space of expression where gesture and emotion guide the composition.
Her canvases invite a free reading, leaving the viewer free to project themselves and fully experience the atmospheres suggested. Between gentleness and intensity, her work reflects a constant search for balance and harmony.
-----------------
My name is Patricia Lioret Sevrain, and I've been painting for several years. I started painting for fun, following in the footsteps of my mother, who taught me the desire to paint. I give life to my ideas by harmonizing shapes, subjects and colors. My painting is very diversified, I can choose it according to my desire, my sensitivity, my inspiration of the moment. It would be boring for a painter to always do the same thing. That's how I feel.
