The journey begins in the capital, Tokyo, with its 14 million inhabitants, one of the world's most impressive megalopolises, with its towering architecture, tangle of suspended highways and sky-defying towers.
Then it's on to small villages in the heart of eternal Japan, where people live in communion with nature. Despite their seemingly diametrically opposed lifestyles, you'll soon realize that these two worlds share the same culture. From the art of gardening to the tea ceremony and haiku, those very short poems that express the fragility of each moment, a soul, an identity and an art of living between tradition and modernity are revealed.
