From May 4 to 10, 2026, at the Espace Carnot in Châtelaillon-Plage, the Lions Club is organizing the charity exhibition "L'art dans tous ses états", bringing together painters, sculptors and photographers to benefit the Clairvoyants 17 association.
In 2026, the Lions Club de Châtelaillon-Plage is organizing a charity exhibition to benefit the Association Clairvoyants 17, which helps blind and partially-sighted people.
The exhibition, entitled "L'art dans tous ses états" ("Art in all its states"), will bring together several artists and aims to finance an innovative white cane, designed to facilitate mobility for the visually impaired. The cost of the equipment and associated training is 800 euros.
To date, three renowned painters, including a Prix de Rome winner, a sculptor and a photographer have confirmed their participation. This initiative highlights both the importance of art and culture in our solidarity initiatives and the values of conviviality and sharing held by our commune.
The aim of the exhibition is to highlight the benefits of art and culture in our society, and at the same time to promote the image of our club, which is keen to undertake complementary actions in this field alongside its social, charitable and humanitarian initiatives.
Art in the broadest sense of the term (music, cinema, painting, sculpture, design, photography, street performances, theater, art, arts and crafts...) can indeed be an interesting source of inspiration, exchange and human encounters for all kinds of audiences (children, young people, families, adults, disabled people...) and trigger opportunities in terms of links and future developments.
