From April 13 to 19, 2026, at the Espace Carnot in Châtelaillon-Plage, the "Rêveries plurielles" exhibition brings together J-M Roger, Céache and Laurelle Bessé to present non-figurative paintings and sculptures, combining colors, materials and imaginary worlds.
"PLURAL REVERIES
A mosaic of colors, shapes and materials, harmoniously blending the worlds of water, earth, air and fire.
Oil paintings, acrylic canvases and sculpted materials are just some of the original works on display, offering visitors the chance to experience emotions, dreams and escapism.
Jean-Michel ROGER
A non-figurative painter for 25 years, I propose mysterious atmospheres, abstract adventures and improbable settings on canvases painted with oil knives.
I don't reproduce what I see, I appropriate it and transform it. My paintings don't represent reality; they invite you to daydream, to stroll through an unreal world of memories and freedom.
The four pillars of my painting language are Painting, Passion, Pleasure and Sharing.

"Céache
More accustomed to handling needles than brushes, passionate about fabrics, their colors and textures, I began 10 years ago to paint non-figuratively in fluid paint.
Then I turned to naive painting on wood, in particular cities undulating in front of tidal waves, with cameos of color, "houses on legs" wandering in all directions...
Now I do what I call my "totems". These are narrow, elongated paintings on wood that hang on the wall, with geometric motifs based on arcs of circles, or many with more "ethnic" motifs, straight out of my imagination.
An untrained colorist, I like to play with paints, mixing colors together and making them sing on wood to create harmonies and imaginary worlds.
Laurelle Bessé
An artist at heart since childhood, I chose technical drawing as a career path (architecture, cartography, design...). Then I felt the need to express myself freely in different media, and I now devote myself fully to painting and sculpture.
Mineral illusions, my sculptures, whether wall-mounted or free-standing, mostly evoke pieces of weathered rock, colored veins emerging from faults and fractures. Others are reminiscent of landscapes, their cut-outs recalling the silhouettes of trees or coral... It's difficult to identify the material used; one imagines wood, stone or even metal... but it's all illusion, a millefeuille of materials and a little mystery...
My work has won numerous awards, and my sculptures have been acquired by private and public collectors in France and abroad.
