Join us on April 4, 5 and 6, 2026 on the beach of Châtelaillon-Plage for the 32nd edition of the International Festival of Kites and Wind, 3 poetic, immersive and creative days for the whole family to enjoy.
SATURDAY 4, SUNDAY 5 AND MONDAY 6 APRIL 2026
Kite flyers from all over France and beyond are gathering on the beach at Châtelaillon this Easter weekend to give free rein to their passion.
And to our delight, their enchanting, zany, colorful and often surprising creations will fill the skies over Châtelaillon.
A 2026 edition that will make you dream!
An ounce of magic, an inch of adrenalin, a few centimeters of enchantment, that's what the châtelaillonnais kite festival is all about:
- Artists from all corners of Europe and even Polynesia display their latest creations in the skies.
- Rokkaku battles, artistic creations by kite flyers, and encounters with amateurs from all over France.
- Creative workshops for young and old alike.
- And many other surprises to discover!
FESTIVAL HIGHLIGHTS :
XXL kites, of course! And this year, a swarm of marine animals will take to the skies.
There are also creative activities for children and the much-anticipated egg hunt on Sunday morning.
There's also the chance to meet the crazy jumpers who'll be waiting to take you on a wild ride... or maybe you'd like to try out a kite float?
In 2026, the festival continues its commitment to protecting the planet, and we're counting on you!
The Festival du cerf-volant et du vent is, by nature, sensitive to the environment. Located on the beach, a protected area where the wind is our friend, the commune of Châtelaillon-Plage is committed for the 4th year to implementing the "eco-engaged event" standard.
OUR COMMITMENTS
- Concrete actions: 0 plastic cups, waste sorting, low-carbon footprint menus, upcycling decorations in partnership with La Matière, eco-responsible communication.
- An event coordinator to carry out all actions
- Awareness-raising and sharing with all those involved in the festival: organizers, festival-goers, partners and, of course, YOU!
YOUR COMMITMENTS
Take part in OUR eco-commitment! Don't leave your garbage at the event! Take it home and sort it responsibly!
